As a housewarming gift, I decided to offer a session to one of my favorite girl moms after she and her husband poured her heart, soul, blood and sweat into their fixer-upper. The home and the family are both beautifully stewarded and I love being with them!

Crackling leaves behind our feet, giddy childlike squeals and the warmth of golden hour made a perfect recipe for the sweetest photo with this family.

Tara came to North Carolina for a long visit and we did a mini session in my newly decorated guest bedroom. This family means the world to me and I enjoy every second I get to spend with them!

To know the Takata’s is to adore them! What a beautiful crew. I have known Hannah + Blake since elementary school and it was really fun to seem them “all grown up” with a family! This session was nothing short of amazing - the subjects, the view, the outfits….love it all.
